Gal 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.2Co 5:15
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.If you would not ever be mistaken for Christ JESUS, Why not?

Now, REPENT of each and every one of those reasons!

Humbly, yet boldly we come to YOUR HOLY THRONE of GRACE... Dearest LORD GOD, how very little we resemble OUR LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST....
every shortcoming is s-i-n !
Everytime we ever made our own choice or thought on our own desires we fell into sinning...for JESUS never did that which pleased HIM -rather, HE ever lived to please YOU, FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY!
Now, as HE is alive in us, how shall we dare to make the goal of our lives to do as we decide as we desire or as we ourselves deem best? abomination of all abominations! LORD GOD ALMIGHTY please forgive us!
Forgive us, DEAREST FATHER, and cleanse us from this horrid unrighteousness that is such a wretched stench to YOU.
How have we disregarded or forgotten YOUR HOLY WORD that says:
1Co 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?How dare we try to plan out our own lives - DEAREST FATHER GOD, HOLY AND PURE, please help us to obey YOUR WORD ... live YOUR WORD out through us ... obey YOUR WORD through our lives... and then we will truly be living sacrifices unto YOU, pure and HOLY as is our reasonable service.
Rom 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.For we know, no human can die to self and fill himself WITH JESUS...GOD WITH US... ONLY YOU GOD can do that.
and that is exactly what we are asking LORD GOD.
In the BELOVED and HOLY NAME of YOUR DEAR SON, OUR SAVIOUR JESUS the CHRIST

Wouldn't it be wonderful if every where they looked they thought they had found their suspect!! I've heard a slightly different version of this, saying could you be convicted of being a Christian. But I like this one better! I think there are many who could not even be convicted of being a Christian. And I fear there are too many Christians who could not be mistaken for Jesus. - Barbara
