Deny self and take up your cross daily and follow JESUS

HOW? HOW can we do that?

You can't --- not on your own nor by your own strength.

No more than Lazarus could raise himself from the dead -

Still, WE MUST DIE TO SELF!

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

and as the Apostle Paul writes:

1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means,
when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Paul, who was victorious in his good fight of faith...has left us a guide as to how we, too, may be victorious in our lives...

Paul wrote many of the books of the New Testament. They are found after the GOSPELs
(Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are GOSPELs - they tell the Life Story of JESUS CHRIST).
The books Acts, Romans, all the way to Hebrews are the letters
that Paul wrote to the Christians of his day-or, rather I should say they are the letters
GOD ALMIGHTY wrote through Paul to instruct Christians of all times.

Ask HOLY FATHER GOD to send HIS HOLY SPIRIT to teach and guide you as you Read them. Study them. Follow them. Listen to GOD's WORD continually. Online there are so many places to download audio BIBLEs. Or just tune in and listen.

DON'T BE SATISFIED WITH LISTENING TO WHAT SOMEBODY SAYS GOD SAID...

LISTEN TO GOD'S WORD YOURSELF!

We are here before YOU, today... to 1st of all say Thank YOU for all your wonderful and glorious loving blessings
YOU so Generously shower down on us each and every day. Thank YOU for provisions for our families,
food to eat, clothes to wear, and shelter over our heads, DEAREST FATHER GOD.

It is our Greatest Desire to Please YOU, FATHER GOD. Please send us YOUR HOLY SPIRIT to guide us into all TRUTH as JESUS promised HE would ask YOU to do.

Please help us to die to self
and live always only as JESUS would.

We know we can do NOTHING without YOU, DEAREST LORD!
Neither to be able to stop doing what our bodies crave to do, nor to make JESUS Alive inside us-HIS LIFE.
Only YOU can cleanse us from the sins we have lived in all our lives- ONLY YOU can give us JESUS's HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS inside us.

ONLY YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER can make come true YOUR WORDS:

1Pe 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

for the rest of our days, FOREVER AND EVER.... please, LORD, live these 2 scriptures out in us we pray.
