GOD MAGNIFIED HIS WORD ABOVE HIS NAME

Psa 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Men and women of GOD ~ we ought to Know GOD's WORD.
We who are commanded to LOVE the LORD Our GOD with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength
WE OUGHT TO KNOW GOD'S HOLY WORD!
All this studying what some man has to say about GOD's WORD
HAS GOT TO STOP.
PRAY-ASK FOR GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH YOU
KNOW GOD YOURSELF.
MEN ARE LIARS! Your ETERNAL DESTINY demands that
you KNOW GOD for yourself!
Without Faith, it is impossible to please GOD.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the WORD OF GOD!
Men are fallible (even well-meaning ones).
All the souls in hell FOLLOWED the WRONG person/teaching/ideas path to get there.
GOD & HIS WORD are Faithful and TRUE. JESUS and JESUS ONLY is to
be TRUSTED with your ETERNAL SALVATION.
JESUS CHRIST IS OUR LORD, MASTER AND SAVIOUR.
FOLLOW HIM. KNOW HIS VOICE (HIS WORDS).
AND DON'T TURN AWAY - NO MATTER WHAT MAN SAYS JESUS (OR GOD) DIDN'T MEAN WHAT THEY SAY IN THE HOLY BIBLE.
YES, GOD DOES MEAN WHAT HE SAYS!
WHEN SOMEONE SAYS THINGS THEY DON'T MEAN
    EITHER: 1) THEY ARE AN ILLITERATE AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE
    OR 2) THEY ARE A  LIAR
GOD IS NEITHER.
GOD MEANS WHAT HE SAYS.  EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS.
100% OF THE TIME..
RUN AWAY FROM THOSE WHO SAY HE DOESN'T.
THEY ARE DECEIVED THEMSELVES AND ARE LISTENING/FOLLOWING/SERVANT TO THE FATHER OF ALL LIES.
Deu 4:4 But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day.
Deu 10:18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
Deu 10:19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Deu 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life,
Act 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
So much of what you are saying is so very true!  We should read and spend time in God's word.  If we ask His Holy Spirit to reveal it's truths to us and show us how to apply it in our lives, He surely will.  Amazes me how many Christians have never even read the whole Bible once!  It is good also to come together with others and discuss AFTER you have read so the Holy Spirit can help you and them to keep in check.  God always has three witnesses.  With Bible study it is the Word, the Spirit and the Church (other believers).  The three should be in agreement.  If they are not, something is wrong......very wrong.  -  Barbara
