How do you see this? Coming from my Baptist background, I see it as saying not to cross-dress like the transvestites do. But if someone feels led to avoid anything resembling the other sexes clothing, if think they should follow that. - Barbara

GOD IS INFINITELY more intelligent than we are. HE repeatedly calls us 'sheep',
sheep are known for their great LACK of intelligence.
GOD is NOT STUPID
HE KNOWS (infinitely knows) how to say what HE means.
HE also LOVES us very very much. When HE wishes to communicate with us,
don't you KNOW HE really wants us to understand what HE IS saying?
What HE says is What HE means.
To say something and NOT mean what you say = LYING!
LET GOD be true and every man a liar. (The Bible says this, rely on it. ANYTIME, EVERYTIME GOD's WORD and man's words contradict each other, GO WITH GOD'S HOLY WORD.)
JESUS CHRIST is also known as GOD's WORD...THE WORD made flesh.
HOLD ONTO GOD'S HOLY WORD with all you are.
Don't turn away from it FOR ANYTHING, EVER.
EVER!
IF there ever comes a time when you (EVERYBODY READING THIS) aren't sure what GOD is saying in HIS WORD, just ask HIM!

Dearest Barbara,
Your comment saddens me so very deeply.
But I thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing it.
Why? Because so very many are confused about so many things
when GOD's Will has always been that everyone KNOW and obey
HIS Will.
#1) We do NOT have the right to take liberties with GOD's WORD.
SO: I see what GOD says in HIS WORD. PERIOD.

This IS what it is saying, but not JUST transvestites.
GOD didn't make a list of exceptions here. Then there are no exceptions.
To add to what GOD said = IS EVIL
(i.e. that we must not even put on what APPEARS to be clothing belonging to the opposite sex)
Some Christians say this, however, because we are also commanded to abstain from all appearance of evil.
So, I must say, they could be right in some cases.
A pantsuit that is CLEARLY made for a woman, is acceptable, then.
To take away from GOD's HOLY WORD = EVIL, VILE AND ABOMINABLE
because it is calling GOD a LIAR and making HIS WORD of none effect.
(as in, I know GOD said that, but it's NOT TRUE. People can wear clothing of the opposite sex for _________________________*insert whichever heinous doctrine from the pit of hell here as an excuse to throw out GOD's HOLY WORD)
