Dearest Friends and Family~

 I've been very very impressed recently how important our outlook on life is...

If your goal is to  BE HAPPY yourself and make yourself happy... YOU (almost) NEVER ARE.

   Why?  Many reasons...but here a few of the tops:

         1) It goes against the way creation was made-preprogrammed, if you will. GOD's way is GIVE and it will be given to you. Not go and get for yourself. JESUS said it best: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

         2) When the goal is self-happiness: one is on the alert for their own likes and dislikes. So, each & every time any little thing they don't like comes their way and it will bother them... They have trained their input senses to be on the watch for personal likes and dislikes-so as to "Go with and promote self happiness" & "do away with, or avoid, or escape from that which they do not like"

. Whereas if you are diligently trying to Please GOD then your focus will be on what Pleases HIM and what does not please HIM .... and while you are concentrating on HIS Ways.... many many things go unnoticed that may have otherwise been a bother to you.

      3) Complaining. How EASY it is to complain when things are not going 'our way'! THAT IS A DANGER! Does anybody else 'tremble' when you read in Exodus the account of how GOD destroyed THOUSANDS of Israelites because of their infernal m-u-r-m-u-r-i-n-g and complaining!!! (they were thirsty in the desert and whined that their families were all going to die of thirst---they were saying: why O why had Moses brought them out of Egypt just to let them die ofthirst in the horrid desert?)

  32,000 died for offending GOD, calling HIM evil after HE had taken so much LOVE, Time, and Energy, did the Greatest MIRACLES ever recorded by mankind...to SAVE THEM OUT OF SLAVERY....and HE had undertaken the task to provide for the WHOLE Nation of Israel 100%....and HE Had been providing for them....

after all that the Israel has the ...audacity to say not only is it not good enough, but they were suffering horribly, almost unto death.

GOD's anger burned towards them, and they were destroyed.

so...uh, yeah, if GOD destroyed them for complaining of deathly-thirst in the desert-- I figure my petty grieveances would be much much much more offensive, I mean, after all, I'm not dying of thirst or anything like that.
