A Couple of Encouraging Words

There are a couple of encouraging words that I'd like to share with you.

These have helped me ALOT...  I pray they will bring a little comfort...wisdom and light. 

1) For all sin we WILL TRULY be sorry for one day. We really really WILL Be TOTALLY sorry for and repent for any and all sin we ever commit.
GOD in HIS Grace and Kindness will bring us to HIS GODLY repentance before we die, or those who refuse that will repent millions of times after the JUDGEMENT.
...... HE has always brought me to repentance in the past: I have come to greatly sorrow over sins that at the time I was commiting them I enjoyed them, needed them (so I thought) but now, IF I could, I really would go back in time & STOP myself from making those horrible mistakes.
NOW when I face temptations ....or I seem to NEED or REALLY WANT - DESIRE - LONG FOR, that which LORD GOD ALMIGHTY calls SIN....I realize someday I WILL BE SORRY! GOD knows something I don't know. SOMEHOW SOMEDAY I WILL TRULY BE TOTALLY SORRY for choosing to do this thing that HE has told me not to. -so why do it, if I KNOW I will wish I HAD NOT done it later? I WILL be WISHING I had the power to come back in time and change this decision one day. Well, now I AM here in time, NOW. I CAN STOP myself from making a big mistake now. With GOD's help I will not mess up any more. I WILL do the right thing.

ALSOI KNOW IF I PERSIST in my own will.... I could be LOST.

   I was in the wilderness for  over 5 years after my divorce ...calling out to JESUS to come and save me from the land of the prodigal...not knowing how to find my way home....when I was out in sin, CONFUSION reigned. Do I have 5 more years towander aroound in the desert?
What if JESUS returns while I'm out wandering?
I really don't even want to go back to that YUCKY wilderness anyway!

2) GOD LOVES us. HE IS taking care of us. HE always will as long as we follow HIM.
I know HE has told me to OBEY.
I don't have to "figure out how to do it".
I just AGREE with HIM. Just as when HE commanded me to forgive someone
unimaginable hurt they had caused - and the forgiveness was not inside me to give,
HE forgave them through me.
So, too, HE is going to walk out this obedience.
HE guides my footsteps.  That's the plan & I'm at peace.
