We (Mercy, Joseph, Joshua and I), just got back from praising LORD GOD ALMIGHTY at Morningside.
Morningside is a retirement home, and once a month our church holds a Sing-&-Praise Along.
This was just our 2nd time to go... oh how we love it.
Along with wonderful hymns, we also sing songs of days gone by. (My Wild Irish Rose, Won't You Come Home Bill Bailey, Moonlight Bay, are some we got to sing today.)
I'm really thankful that the children get to go...this is 1 more reason I love homeschooling. Their grandparents live so far away, one in Tennessee and all the rest are either in Mexico or Heaven. They almost never get to see them. The grandparents all love the children and everyone has a great time.
I so praise GOD for HIS Goodness to us.
I'm so thankful HE takes care of us so I don't have to have a secular job and miss out on my childrens' growing up years.
There are so many things I am so very thankful for...
sometimes I find myself gazing out at the beauty on the
other side of the windows and tears of gratitude fill my
eyes with how very GOOD GOD is to me...I know full
well I don't deserve ANY GOOD thing, but GOD blesses me, anyway.
For JESUS Christ's sake.

How neat that you do this, Cammie. What a wonderful experience for you and your children and I think it is neat that you homeschool!
The people at the retirement center I am sure are so thrilled that you share some time with them :)
