To our most honored co-laborers in Christ,

There are certain moments in time where history and destiny collide ('kairos'); we do believe that God Himself has suddenly and sovereignly opened an effectual door in the spirit for Heidi, for Iris Ministries and for the nation of Mozambique - "for such a time as this!" I believe that Heidi was literally created to be a part of the following event:

It is with great joy and excitement that we share good news with our friends. In March, Heidi has an opportunity to meet and escort The President of Mozambique, Nelson Mandela's wife, as well as a few Hollywood and NGO relief leaders in Maputo. About four months ago, I contacted an outstanding brother - Charlie Gay - to help with an
event to catalyze campus revival in America. In that conversation, he shared how Hollywood's "Fight World Poverty" effort annually selects two nations to help; this year Mozambique has been chosen!  In our spirits, we knew that Heidi was suppose to be a voice piece for the poor, a defender of the orphaned and widowed and one of God's bridges between the West and Africa.

Charlie has invited Heidi to be part of a planning committee to this event. God willing, Heidi will take these top government leaders to film in our "bocaria" (garbage dump) capturing stories of how Jesus' love has transformed the poor (March 9-15). They want to also collect stories of God's love touching our children for an "African Chicken Soup for The Soul." We believe that this is a divine appointment for God's greater plans and purposes for our nation to know Him.

On our healing outreach this week, Heidi just told me that she believes that there is now a church planted in almost every village of the formerly unreached Moslem province of Cabo Delgado (where we are based in Pemba). In fact, just this week anti-Christian leaders were broadcasting on the radio that they should "try to shut down Ministerio Arco-Iris because they are converting so many people!" They were attempting to solicit the support of the former President of Mozambique to shut down God's movement. However, even the former President publicly defended Iris and said that Mozambique should help us in our efforts to help the poor. This meeting could be very helpful for The Lord's work here in Mozambique.

God's heart is that none should perish, so surely the plans that God puts together, no man can bring asunder. We are so grateful that Beautiful Jesus has opened a door that no man can shut. May He establish His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. May The MorningStar and Light of The World Himself shine so brightly that even the 'stars' in Hollywood might know Him through the very poor of the earth. May God's glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea and flood Mozambique with the fame of His name. May this nation know Jesus.

Therefore, please know that though Heidi's heart is to come and minister at her previously scheduled conferences (I know that if she could physically be at two locations at once she surely would), she feels that God's will is for her to be in Maputo. This is an opportunity that may only come once. God has spoken to Heidi to take in 1,000,000 children and her heart is to simply be obedient to this heavenly vision. Therefore, she believes God is calling her to be
home, and we ask that not only would you release her but send your blessings as well.

In closing, our heart is still to partner with God’s purposes and plans for your church, city and nation. Heidi will do Tuesday pm and Wednesday am, March 7th & 8th, 2006.
