I wanted to rush out this emergency prayer request for Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans and the areas along the Gulf Coast. I asked James Goll to write an intro to this insightful article by Avner Boskey. Both James Goll and Avner Boskey are often writers for THE ELIJAH LIST.

Several prophetic voices have indeed suggested that there may be a connection between what Israel has been forced to endure with their removal from Gaza and other settlements and the pressure the USA might have felt required to put on Israel to removed themselves from these Israeli settlements. No two voices agree on this subject (regarding Israel and the settlements) be they Jewish or Gentile.

But if we, as a nation, are forced to face a similar fate of hundreds of thousands of homeless citizens, we may find ourselves identifying with Israel and praying for our own President Bush for great wisdom on how to seek God himself for guidance in administering this situation in our nation.

With that in mind, please read this intro by James Goll (along with his prayer points) and also Avner Boskey's article, sent to us from Israel.

DESPERATE TIMES CALL FOR DESPERATE MEASURES!"

As we watch. Hurricane Katrina rapidly come toward the Gulf Shores of the U. S., we realize how fragile life actually can be. Yet, we must not sit idly by and throw up our hands as we can make no difference.

History belongs to the intercessor. Therefore I urge you to mountthe walls of Crisis Intervention and join in Prayers of Desperation in a Desperate Time!

Let me give you four quick prayer points:

** First, I strongly encourage you lift a cry for Mercy - as mercy triumphs over judgment. Meet God's conditions and speak mercy over the storms of life!

** Second, I strongly urge you to enter into identification through intercession and call forth the blood of Jesus to cleanse our nation of witchcraft and immorality as New Orleans and Mobile are the nations two largest Centers of demonstrative witch craft through the Mardi Gras festivals.

** Thirdly, ask for mercy upon our nation for any wrong policy or pressure that we have demonstrated towards the nation of Israel. We must align ourselves with the Word and Will of God and not that of political expediency.

** Then also lift a cry for laborers of the Gospel to be released and for God's heavenly helpers to come. Always remember to intercede that souls would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth!

Join me in this pivotal hour and mount the Walls of intercession and cry HELP!

Katrina and Gaza: is God speaking in New Orleans?

"This is what YHVH says, who gives the sun to be a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars to be a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar; YHVH of Armies is His name" (Jer.31:35)

The past two weeks have seen Israel withdraw from Gaza as a result of (among other things) American policy and pressure. In previous newsletters we have quoted US State Department and Presidential statements to that effect.

The rushing onset of Hurricane Katrina isshocking and ominous. Check out www.stratfor.com --breaking article "The Geopolitics of Katrina" for the potential strategic damage that could be caused to the US and global economy and petroleum industry as a result of this hurricane. The Port of Southern Louisiana is the USA's largest port and the fifth largest in the world in terms of tonnage. It is America's key port for grain export. Approximately 25% of U.S. produced crude oil comes from the Gulf of Mexico.

Consider Bill Koenig's web site www.watch.org and his book "Eye to Eye – Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel" which charts the uncanny connection between USA attempts to pressure Israel into shrinking its borders, and nearly simultaneous natural disasters in America.

We ask you to consider God's hand in present events. Genesis 12:3 is a prophetic promise that says that God will curse the one who speaks curses Israel.

What happens in Israel affects the rest of the world, and how any country treats Israel has a lot to do with how God treats that country. We are praying, deeply concerned and grieved about the onset of Katrina.

Here are some appalling parallels that need to be considered as we all pray into this situation.

* Recent comments over the past hours on the FOX NEWS Channel eerily parallel what has just happened in Gaza. One commentator referred to the inhabitants of New Orleans and said, "It must be an emotional experience to walk away from their houses and not know if they will be able to live in them again." That is exactly what has transpired here this past week for Gaza's Jewish population.

* Another commentator said that most of all the wooden structures in New Orleans will be destroyed. Nearly all of the structures in Gaza's Jewish communities and farms have been destroyed.

* Ivor Van Heeden, deputy director of Louisiana State University's Hurricane Center, recently said on FOX that there is a high probability that the hurricane will loosen many of the coffins in New Orleans and that corpses will be loosened and moved from their resting places. One of the three top items on Israel's news tonight was the forced removal of Jewish graves from the Gaza Strip and the transportation of the corpses for reburial in other parts of Israel.

* Whereas Gaza was placed under a state of emergencyas its 8,000 residents were evacuated, now New Orleans has been given orders for a mandatory evacuation of nearly 500,000 people.

* Whereas many Israeli Jews from Gaza are in temporary refugee camps and tent cities, there is talk of up to one million refugees needing to be settled in temporary camps in the Louisiana and Mississippi area.

It seems that the US and Israel are joined together this week by some measure of tragedy. We grieve for this, and especially for the apparent links between these two events.

Pray for America's leadership, that their spiritual eyes and ears may be attentive to the God of Israel who stirs up the waves so that they roar. Let us not shut our ears if He is speaking. And let us handle with respect the people whom He has chosen as the apple of His eye.

We Are Against Disengagement

Our Way May "Look Nice" and All, but

Just had a dream:

Our floor looked...."hmmmm, what's going on with our floor?"

We had painted the floor white! It looked nice, clean...not dirty, but the paint was ...being worn off & underneath the paint -to my surprise, and yet it was natural that it was there-  was this Luscious Exquisite Dark Sky Blue carpet.

I said, well, that's weird -why would we paint the floor?

We had TRIED to make it look nice is why!  (I remembered that before we had painted the floor, it had been....ugly, it had been some old regular flooring that had gotten marred and unsightly).

Well, where the paint was being worn off, was still pretty - it looked like swirled marble?

But I said, this is silly! We need to get rid of this paint! And I noticed there was water on the floor, and where the water was, the paint was coming off ALOT...

  so I started pouring more water on the floor and picking up the paint, which was very easy to remove.....

The Carpet underneath was not being affected in the least with the paint. It was Gorgeous...perfect...not stained It was indestructibly unchangeable in it's beauty..

When I awoke, I understood this dream.

The paint on the floor is our relationship with GOD...and our lives(notice the carpet was the substance that was holding us up...supporting us.).... I had tried to do the best I could the right way (to support ourselves) , but....My works and MY ideas how to do things were being eroded away (though they were based on HIS WORD)...and GOD's establishment of our relationship was being revealed.

When I realized the difference between My establishment, and HIS--- I knew to start 'taking away' my works and reveal and enjoy HIS.

I LOVE YOU, LORD GOD

but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:5 (KJV)

Sadly, however, that IS the way some think of repentance:

 As if we were in a game of MONOPOLY with the HOLY LORD GOD of ALL and if they say Sorry, then that is like a 'Get Out of hell" free card.

No, how many know that "SAYING something" and "MEANING something" isn't always the SAME thing.

So, to TRULY repent, you MUST BE TRULY SORRY...so sorry for the act or deed or deletion that you WISH and DESIRE with all you are that you had NEVER committed the act...so sorry that IF IT WERE IN YOUR POWER TO CHANGE IT, YOU WOULD!

Bring forth fruits equalling your repentance said John the Baptist.

Words can be cheap. He is saying, "Do it!", "Give us something we CAN SEE!"

On August 18, 2005 the world was watching a group of unarmed Jewish pioneers pay respect to their synagogue refusing to surrender their legal rights, homes, liberty and freedom.

On April 2, 2002, Israel Defense Forces, for a period of 39 days, prevented the destruction of the Christian shrine.

On August 18, 2005, Israel Defense Forces desecrated and destroyed the synagogues in Gus Katif - in just 1 day.

By May 10, 2002, 39 days after the Nativity siege, 39 terrorists were set free; 26 where bused to a Gaza hotel, and 13 were flown to Cyprus and settled at the Larnaca hotel.

By end of day of August 18, 2005, after just one day of siege, thousands of Israeli heroes became the new Jewish refugees in the State of Israel.

While many people focus solely on RU 486, the so-called " French abortion pill," the RU 486 technique actually uses two powerful synthetic hormones with the generic names of mifepristone and misoprostol [17] to chemically induce abortions in women five-to-nine weeks pregnant.[18]

The RU 486 procedure requires at least three trips to the abortion facility.[19] In the first visit, the woman is given a physical exam, and if she has no obvious contra-indications ("red flags" such as smoking, asthma, high blood pressure, obesity, etc., that could make the drug deadly to her[20] ), she swallows the RU 486 pills. RU 486 blocks the action of progesterone, the natural hormone vital to maintaining the rich nutrient lining of the uterus. The developing baby starves as the nutrient lining disintegrates.[21]

At a second visit 36 to 48 hours later, the woman is given a dose of artificial prostaglandins, usually misoprostol, which initiates uterine contractions and usually causes the embryonic baby to be expelled from the uterus. [22] Most women abort during the 4-hour waiting period at the clinic, but about 30% abort later at home, work, etc., [23] as many as 5 days later.[24] A third visit about 2 weeks later determines whether the abortion has occurred or a surgical abortion is necessary to complete the procedure (5 to 10% of all cases).[25]

There are several serious well documented side effects associated with RU 486/prostaglandin abortions, including prolonged (up to 44 days) [26] and severe bleeding,[27] nausea, vomiting, [28] pain, [29] and even death. At least one woman in France died while others there sufferedlife-threatening heart attacks from the technique. [30] In U.S. trials conducted in 1995, one woman is known to have nearly died after losing half her blood and requiring emergency surgery. [31]

Long term effects of the drug have not yet been sufficiently studied, but thereare reasons to believe that RU 486 could affect not only a woman’s current pregnancy, but her future pregnancies as well, potentially inducing miscarriages or causing severe malformations in later children. [32]

Disrespect blares from televisions, people laughing thinking it is such a BIG joke that they can mock anyone and everyone even at GOD HIMSELF without HIM punishing them for their wickedness...

      .....unbeknownst to them-it is the devils inside them that are laughing. Their devils are laughing because they know the ignorant people mocking GOD will be in hell soon enough to burn forever and the devils are taking that person's soul to hell..

....yes, these people who are so disrespectful, their own destruction is soon to come should they fail to repent and call out to JESUS to save them.

 GOD's WORD is very clear: Be not decieved, GOD is not mocked. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

 There are some people whose definition of being sorry for something is really messed up
 For example: I had a lady tell me once:

"...have an abortion.
GOD knows...how hard it is for you
you can repent later and say you are sorry
and HE will forgive you"

 u see? she was really mixed up
to be sorry for something...to be truly sorry for something...is: IF you had the chance - YOU WOULD CHANGE IT
  if you had a time machine, you would go back in time, and NOT do it

Praying for GOD's Love

In this time of praying...

I am REALLY asking for more love for my fellow Christians.

LOVE so very strong that it cannot be mistaken

I do LOVE everyone SO MUCH....but somehow... I must not be showing it effectively, so I am asking for MORE.

Many times, those I LOVE so incredibly dearly seem not to see my love for them!

I'm speaking of my own CHILDREN. (as well as others who love JESUS).

Now, my children are my life...they mean everything to me.

So, when they ... don't see my love...or feel it,  well, I am very perplexed.

We Christians have this big problem that is VERY MUCH like this.

Our love, actions, and words are often misinterpreted.

Judgement and condemnation are what we are usually charged with.

When the TRUTH IS, we are sharing GOD's Words of Love and Warning to everyone.

Why can't they see the LOVE?

Only someone that LOVEs you is going to risk your anger/displeasure to tell you something you DON'T/may not want to hear.

Much easier is to 'look the other way'... don't say anything.

Change the subject.

But, then, ...what happens?

I testify that GOD has always provided for my family.

We have always had food to eat and clothes to wear.

The times we didn't eat it was by choice. I have always had food to feed my children. ALWAYS. They have always had clothes to wear. ALWAYS.

We have been very blessed.

Let us reach out to those not as fortunate aswe are.

There are still people in this world who don't know Our Father. Let us bring them to HIM, so they may ask HIM to be their GOD and take care of them, too.

Meanwhile, while there are still people in this world with NO coat at all, then WHY is there MORE THAN 1 coat in our closets?! (YES, I AM SPEAKING TO ME, TOO...for I have promised GOD I would be a more worthy steward of HIS blessings!)

And...food in abundance in our cabinets...can't we share with the hungry?

Our church accepts donations to 'FISH' it is a local ministry to those in need. How easy is it to just CARRY some food with you to church?

Or... Feed the Children is a worthy ministry, isn't it?

Somehow, someway, We MUST BE ABOUT THE FATHER'S BUSINESS...

Loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.

Ok..then, I need to be considering, do my neighbors have all they need?

Are THEIR ETERNAL SOULS secure?

Have they the food they need today? The clothes? Any other need that has not been met yet?

JESUS didn't please HIMSELF.  (Romans 15:3)

This scripture continues to IMPACT me.

HE lived in service to others.  Since HE never changes...If we are IN HIM, then we MUST be living in service to others as well.
