I never knew children were so wonderful until
I had them.
To think I was so TIMID about having children at first!
And when the first was on the way - I felt "I totally was
NOT ready for this!"
Then a Christian lady shared with me that children are
a reward from the LORD.
"REALLY?!" I asked (I had NEVER heard that in my life!)
And she showed it to me.
Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Well, right then I wasn't ..timid anylonger.  If GOD is going
to give a REWARD (I mean, hey, HE can give ANYTHING)
then it has to be something REALLY REALLY GOOD!

.........and if HE is sending me a child, well, then HE must
think I am ready - or that I WILL BE ready when she arrives!

I found everything to be TRUE. Nothing on earth is quite as
wonderful as a child. (from 1 to 92 no matter how old they are,
or WHOSE they are...they are what 'treasures laid up in heaven'
are all about)

**So, Dear Father, **
At this time, I Thank YOU, for all YOUR loving kindnesses to me,
and to my family through all these years.
Thank YOU, LORD! for all YOUR beautiful blessings.

I know how it is to be concerned with people you love dearly.  

I do all I can to tell my loved ones about JESUS.  

When I was younger, my little brother who was only 20 was tradgically killed - run over time and again on a dark highway at night.  

 I thought he went to hell.   I was - well, it was beyond words.

 SCREAMING OUT TO GOD

YELLING HOLLERING ALL NIGHT LONG........

ETERNITY IN HELL...... LORD, NO!  

Why hadn't I ...TOLD HIM MORE MORE MORE ABOUT JESUS?!!! 

WHY HAD I LEFT HIM ALONE?  WHY DID I NOT REST UNTIL I KNEW HE WAS SECURE????????????  

I wanted JESUS to raise him up......but it didn't happen.

For a year I was haunted by the horrendous thoughts of my dear little brother burning in hell ...

WITH NO ESCAPE

 u know...I guess there is alot more I could be doing to see that my loved ones are saved after all....    

Anyway, one day about a year after Earl (his name is Earl) died,

 my grandmother came over to visit.

We began to talk about Earl, and how he died and all.

I can still hear her saying:  "Oh, Cammie! You haven't been thinking that Earl is in hell?!! Have you?!"  

"Yes, Granny."    

"Oh, Cammie! I wish you would have told me! I could have told you! Earl gave his life to JESUS the Sunday before he died. He went forward in my church at the end of service"

"Thank you, Granny! Thank you for telling me!"

Last night at prayer meeting we were praying for revival...and funny this should be in the Devotional I was reading this AM: the highlighted part specially (GOD's asked me to tell my neighbors about HIM) :

Few words, but yet an exquisite miniature of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A lesson to us, if we would do good, to do it ourselves. Give alms with your own hand; a kindlook, or word, will enhance the value of the gift. Speak to a friend about his soul; your loving appeal will have more influence than a whole library of tracts.

Our Lord’s mode of doing good sets forth his incessant activity! He did not only the good which came close to hand, but he "went about" on his errands of mercy. Throughout the whole land of Judea there was scarcely a village or a hamlet which was not gladdened by the sight of him. How this reproves the creeping, loitering manner, in whichmany professors serve the Lord. Let us gird up the loins of our mind, and be not weary in well doing. Does not the text imply that Jesus Christ went out of his way to do good? "He went about doing good." He was never deterred by danger or difficulty. He sought out the objects of his gracious intentions. So must we. If old plans will not answer, we must try new ones, for fresh experiments sometimes achieve more than regular methods. Christ’s perseverance, and the unity of his purpose, are also hinted at, and the practical application of the subject may be summed up in the words, "He hath left us an example that we should follow in his steps."

"Chariots of Fire"

I was taken up to Heaven and suspended above the earth. I looked down, upon the earth, and surrounding the globe, were thousands and thousands and thousands of chariots. They were chariots of fire, carrying glory. They were carrying the Glory of the Lord, and inside each chariot sat two saints of God. They were totally transparent. There was nothing hidden in them. There was no darkness. Nothing disguised. Nothing was covering them. They were transparent and full of glory and full of light.

There was only one thing of color inside each saint. And it was this huge, huge, immense heart, that went shoulder to shoulder. It was a heart beating, with love and passion. It was a huge red heart. And I looked up to Heaven, and there was Jesus. Oh! There's Jesus. He's so beautiful. He's so beautiful! His eyes. His eyes of love were looking upon me. They were melting me and causing my heart to grow, bigger still. I saw His heart, and it was beating. I saw it beating. I heard it beating. And then I looked in the chariots, at the saints of God. And each heart, each huge heart, each huge heart of love was beating in rhythm with the heartbeat of Jesus.

The saints had a sword in their hand. Each one held a gleaming sword of white gold and flames of fire were coming off the sword. It took two hands, two holy hands, to hold the sword. There the horses were leading the chariots. These two white horses were beautiful and magnificent. They were ready to run. Their veins on their necks were bulging out and they had bits in their mouths. Their reins were reaching straight up to Heaven.

Jesus Tells the Church to Release Control

<FONTFACE=VERDANA size="2">The Lord Jesus said to me, "Tell the Church - TO RELEASE CONTROL! I will hold the reins to this revival. I will decide where the chariots run. Tell the Church! Release the reins to Me! Holy is the Lamb!" And then I saw the Lord's right hand straight above His head and He cried, "Noooooooowww!"

As His right hand went down, the chariots of fire, these chariots of glory began to run. They ran across the face of the earth. And as the chariots ran across the face of the earth, this fire, this glory-fire fell upon the earth burning it up. The earth was set ablaze with the glory fire.

But there were pockets. There were these pockets on the earth that resisted! Oh! That resisted. Oh! The glory! The mercy! Even the love of Jesus. And those pockets upon the earth became dark, hideous darkness, like nothing I have ever seen. Holes of hideous darkness, like something I could have never imagined.

The Double-Edged Sword of The Lord

I looked at my Jesus, and He said, "The sword is both mercy and judgment. For those who will receive My love, there is great mercy, compassion, kindness, and glory. But for those who will reject My Presence, My Purpose, My Love. Oh! There is great darkness and judgment."

The Lord asked me to ask the church, "Who would ride? Who would ride in the chariots of glory? Who would carry the huge heart of Jesus-love within them? Who would ride in the chariots of glory, and not touch the glory? Not rob, the glory? Who would take the sword? Holy! Sword of the Lord in their hand? Who would release control to the Bridegroom King? Holy, is the Lamb!"

more and more I FEEL the urgency that we CHRISTIANS need to get serious about our relationship with Our LORD and Saviour!

FASTING and PRAYER

Do these words offend you? They should BLESS you! They ARE blessings!!!  Prayer is communication with The LOVER of your soul - AND THE MOST IMPORTANT AND POTENT PERSON WHO EVER LIVED! Fasting is a way to overcome the works of the flesh, and show GOD that HE is more important to us than our wants and desires.

Neither is an hard thing!

To pray always and without ceasing, as David did, let us 'see HIS Face' ever before us.

To fast, begin small and continue from there.

Fast one meal one day. (That includes praying and seeking GOD while fasting - otherwise you are just starving yourself)

Praise GOD for the victories won!

You may do this as many times as you wish.

If you fast from midnight until noon every day you are fasting 1/2 the time.

People may fast as much as 3/4 of the year.

What? You may think I'm crazy. But it is TRUE. Freedom Ministries fasts at least 6 months every year.

Usually they fast one day, eat the next.

However, on occasion GOD calls them to EVEN MORE fasting than that.

In 1995 (if I am remembering correctly) GOD had them to eat one day, and fast two.

Then after 8 months of doing that...they fasted the ENTIRE MONTH of September!

The miracles that were wrought, the VICTORIES won, are more wonderful than words can tell, and MUCH of what was done we WILL be enjoying the blessings forever, only to comprehend them when JESUS returns.

Maybe you need to ask your pastor to teach fasting and prayer?...not forgetting the BEST part: openning  up your BIBLE, and listening to what GOD Himself has to say, too!

www.fuegodedios.com has a wonderful section all about fasting, and I must say it is the BEST BIBLICALLY SOUND teaching over fasting I have found ANYWHERE.

WHY are the stories of Daniel in the lions' den and the 3 Hebrews who were thrown in the fire, and all the other powerful stories of GOD's provision in tough times in the BIBLE?

The one that struck me was the man

who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,

took the various means to get to work

but before he got there, he developed

a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore ! to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am

stuck in traffic,

miss an elevator,

turn back to answer a ringing telephone...

all the little things that annoy me.

I think to myself,

this is exactly where
God wants me to be

at this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be

going wrong,
the chil dren are slow getting dressed,

you can't seem to find the car keys,

you hit every traffic light,

don't get mad or frustrated;

God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you

with all those annoying little things

and may you remember their possible purpose.

A group of people exercised their first amendment right to free speech today on Route 29.

Abortion is an issue that has sparked heavy debate across the nation on more than one occasion, and Thursday it came full stage right here in Charlottesville.

"With every abortion, there's a baby that's been decapitated with arms and legs pulled from its body, so we're here to show people the reality of abortion," says Protester Denny Green. "Let the victims speak for themselves."

Green is one of several protesters who posted up on Route 29 Thursday in opposition of Planned Parenthood's involvement with abortion.

"Any sane, moral, upright person should oppose people dismembering children, and that's what Planned Parenthood does. They're the number one abortion provider worldwide, and they do this every day of the week around the world," added Green.

Drivers passing by shared mixed reactions. One woman passed the signs on her way to work and took more offense to the people holding the signs than the signs themselves. "If it would've been adults, it would've been fine," says Charlottesville Native Sue Stringfield." I just oppose three young boys holding signs that adults should be holding."

Planned Parenthood officials say they are doing a lot more than holding signs. "Planned Parenthood believes that woman deserve access to all healthcare options, and these people today would want to deny woman access to those options," says Becky Reid, a Planned Parenthood Grassroots Organizer.

"If people really want to reduce the need for abortion, the way to do that is to make sure women, couples, and teens have access and information to contraceptive services, and that's what we do," added Reid.

Planned Parenthood officials said that protests like those that occurred today do little to discourage their efforts.

Dinosaur soft tissue find—a stunning rebuttal of “millions of years”

We previously announced the discovery of what seemed to be microscopic red blood cells (and immunological evidence of hemoglobin) in dinosaur bone (see Sensational dinosaur blood report! and response to critic).1 Now a further announcement, involving the same scientist (Montana State University’s Dr Mary Schweitzer2) stretches (pun intentional) the long-age paradigm beyond belief.

Not only have more blood cells been found, but also soft, fibrous tissue, and complete blood vessels. The fact that this really is unfossilized soft tissue from a dinosaur is in this instance so obvious to the naked eye that any scepticism directed at the previous discovery is completely “history”.

A: The arrow points to a tissue fragment that is still elastic.  It beggars belief that elastic tissue like this could have lasted for 65 million years.
B: Another instance of “fresh appearance” which similarly makes it hard to believe in the “millions of years”. 
C: Regions of bone showing where the fibrous structure is still present, compared to most fossil bones which lack this structure.  But these bones are claimed to be 65 million years old, yet they manage to retain this structure.

One description of a portion of the tissue was that it is “flexible and resilient and when stretched returns to its original shape”.3

The exciting discovery was apparently made when researchers were forced to break open the leg bone of a Tyrannosaurus rex fossil to lift it by helicopter. The bone was still largelyhollow and not filled up with minerals as is usual. Dr Schweitzer used chemicals to dissolve the bony matrix, revealing the soft tissue still present.4

 a few years ago, her bf and her dad had drugged her  and put her in an insane assylum
  the doctors kept giving her drugs everyday
 and ...she finally got out because she would hide the pills they gave her under her tongue
  and then throw them away
  she told me she used to read her BIBLE all the time in there
  and GOD told her what to do
  so she could get out


  so

 I was ....more than I can tell you
  I said,"I am so sorry!  and I will NEVER say that to you again."  (I actually have never said it to anybody again)
  ....so, we never know....what other people are thinking about what we are saying
  and....they don't know what we are thinking either
 that's why we have to tell them

for example:

If you think a friend is saying something & meaning something that hurts your feelings, ASK THEM RIGHT OUT!

say: Are you meaning to say:  bla bla bla? and that you think that bla bla bla I am 'bad'?

then they will CLARIFY what they were thinking when they said X thing. ..and  9 times out of 10 they will say Definitely NOT!  How could you think I meant THAT?
 so they can say....NO WAY! I never said THAT....  or... That's NOT what I meant

I sure hope this helps somebody.

ding dong devil used to always get me into alot of messes with people I loved before I started doing this : repeating questionable comments back to them & asking if that is what they were thinking/saying-

Now, I have grown to trust their love for me over what negative thoughts come into my head

Christian Survives Horror of North Korean Prison
A Christian missionary jailed in North Korea has done what many prisoners in the communist state never do - he has emerged alive to tell about his horrific experience. The testimony of a Korean-Chinese man referred to only as "Lee" to protect his identity recently was obtained by The Voice of the Martyrs.

The missionary says a woman in his Chinese church gave him an ID number to use in traveling to North Korea, saying it belonged to her cousin. When authorities saw the ID number, they immediately arrested Lee, who later discovered the woman was a North Korean spy. He had been set up.

Wrote Lee of his prison experience: "Between March 5 and 19, I was interrogated daily. Because of the beatings I began to have severe pains in my liver and kidney."

Lee says at one point the authorities believed he was near death, so they transferred him to another location and fed him well to make sure he stayed alive. "Within two weeks I had recovered, so they brought me back to the interrogation center where I was again beaten and tortured for another 54 days," wrote Lee.

Why torture a man for weeks on end? Stated Lee: "My No. 1 crime against the People's Republic of Korea is that for the past eight years I have been spreading the gospel in North Korea and bringing people to Christ."

Lee says his heroes are those Christians who have endured hardship, torture and the loss of their lives - but who never denounced their faith: "They truly live and die for the Gospel, and they are my heroes. Though their lives were short, what they've done will forever shine with Christ."

I just got this email today from a good friend. (Mrs. Hug~She works with the children at church and also is C0-Director for VBS)

In that complaining is a horrible sin ( GOD destroyed THOUSANDS of Israelites in the desert, because they were 'murmuring against HIM'...saying we are THIRSTY! Have YOU brought us and our children here to DIE of thirst?) SO- no matter WHAT we are going through, We ARE NOT to complain.

I thought I must share this with you, so you can see, that, truly, we do have MUCH to be thankful for.

Truly, GOD is wonderful and merciful! And GOD answers prayers! Sunday Morning service, our Pastor led our congregation in a prayer for GOD's mercy and grace in this crisis time. His prayer was that the hurricane would dissapate, and we prayed for GOD's mercy not ONLY on those who love GOD, but also on those who do not. As I read the headlines today, I saw GOD answered these prayers! (of course, I know this was in answer to many other Christians' prayers, too!)

SEE HOW EASY IT IS TO ENTREAT GOD FOR HIS MERCY??? TRULY HE IS JUST WAITING TO FORGIVE US...AND STAY THE CATASTROPHIES THAT ARE HEADED OUR WAY!
